By accessing or using OwnDriveVault ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
OwnDriveVault is a multi-tenant document management platform that connects to each organization's own Google Drive. We store file metadata and workspace configuration; file contents are stored in your organization's Google Drive under your organization's OAuth connection. Features include organizations & roles, folders/subfolders, sharing, previews, ZIP downloads, versioning, favorites & filters, Trash, activity logs, external share links, file requests, comments, white-label branding, session management, backups, and subscription billing tools.
You agree not to: upload, store or share unlawful, infringing, malicious or abusive content; attempt to breach security or access other tenants' data; reverse-engineer the Service; share account credentials; abuse external links or file requests for spam or malware distribution; or use the Service in violation of any applicable law.
You retain all rights to your content and are solely responsible for it, including ensuring you have licenses and consents. We do not pre-screen content but may remove it and suspend accounts upon credible claims of illegality or violation.
Public external share links and file-request dropboxes are powerful tools — you are responsible for whom you send them to, the passwords you set, and the content received or exposed through them. Revoke links promptly when no longer needed.
We implement industry-standard safeguards (CSRF tokens, rate limiting, bcrypt hashing, OAuth 2.0, TLS verification, tenant guards, session management, audit logs). You must use strong passwords, protect your devices, review Active Sessions, and report suspected compromise promptly.
Backup downloads are provided for disaster recovery. Restoring a backup replaces current data entirely — take a fresh backup first. We are not liable for data states resulting from restore operations performed by admins.
The Service depends on Google Drive availability and your organization's OAuth connection. We are not responsible for Google outages, quota limits, or Drive-side deletions performed outside the Service.
The Service software, design and branding tools are owned by OwnDriveVault and licensed to you for use as provided. Your white-label branding assets remain yours.
You may stop using the Service and disconnect Drive at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment/expiry, or unlawful use. Upon organization deletion, tenant data is removed per database cascade rules; Drive contents remain under your Google account's control.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from use of the Service, including failures of third-party services.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OwnDriveVault from claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the current version.
